Short Films
I
had never attended anything like this and I really enjoyed these films. The times ranged in between five and fifteen
minutes and length didn’t matter in this situation. Some of the shorter films struck me more than
the longer ones. What I appreciate from
these films is the effort and drive the directors and producers have when
making these films. I can’t remember off
of the top of my head the name of the film but it was the story of the director
and having rebel forces drive his town out of their homes and have his best
friend killed right next to him. I will
never forget this film and its impact it had on me. Seeing things like this happen in real movies
we can say well it can just be scripted or maybe they up it to make it
appealing however this is not the case.
When the man who lost his best friend as a boy found his old bike, you
could see the pain and hurt in his eyes, you felt his pain. These films were all very well done and I
cant wait for next years show.
